Welcome

The Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette helps students (ages 11-27) complete high school and enroll in the post secondary education institution of their choice. ETS also helps high school dropouts reenter the educational system to complete their education. There are two components of the program.

The Early Intervention Component of Educational Talent Search provides tutorial services, counseling, and educational workshops/information to selected students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Students benefit from a minimum of 4 hours per week of tutoring for 10 weeks during academic year and 14 hours per week for 7 weeks during the summer.

The Traditional Component of ETS provides counseling services and educational workshops on a regular basis to help high school students, high school or college dropouts, and high school graduates who never attended college or vocational/technical school with the preparation necessary to enter and succeed in post secondary education.
